I'm a somatic coach, yogi, and astrologer that believes growth is rarely linear and your intuition is incredibly powerful.

Hi there!

In improv class a couple days ago, an instructor gave me feedback. He said something like, “I’ve noticed you’re good at saying how you feel about a situation, but you don’t act on it. Act on how you’re feeling.” I let that feedback marinate, mixed with just the slightest amount of rumination.

And I realized this is a pattern that follows me into my real life, too. I’ve said I hate my job for months, but I’m not job searching in earnest. Or doubling down on starting a business and screaming what I offer from the rooftops (metaphorically.)

I can give myself kindness. I did update my work portfolio (it’s not perfect, though it does have work from my current company), I launched the website you’re reading this on, and I took a solo trip to Sydney that was out of my comfort zone.

All the same, it is a reminder for me to act on my desires, to really go for after what I want.

Certainly, there will be rejection along the way. The path won’t be perfect. But I do believe there are some delightful surprises and goodness ahead for me.

p.s. Writing “taking action” is kinda cringey for me. It reminds me of the guy I met when I was struggling to find a job a few months out of college. He told me on the top storage area of his condo building—I didn’t deserve to see his place, you see—”time for action. Time for anal.” Um, what? I choose empowering action.

p.p.s. Aaand, after I posted this, I updated my resume and applied for a few jobs! Momentum!
